Current full-time employees of UGA (professional staff members and faculty) who are interested in becoming an Academic Honesty Facilitator should first review UGA’s academic honesty resolution process found here.
Requirements include an interest in participating in the academic honesty process at UGA, the ability to deal effectively with interpersonal conflict, strong listening skills, and time for training. Facilitators should expect a time commitment of at least five hours per semester, must attend a training session, and must observe at least 2 Facilitated Discussions and co-facilitate at least 2 Facilitated Discussions before serving.
Interested applicants should prepare a statement explaining why they wish to become an Academic Honesty Facilitator and include information about any special qualifications, certifications, or experience dealing with academic integrity and/or student conduct issues.
